Quinoa Harvest &
Andean Festival

A colorful community celebration featuring quinoa harvesting, llamas, Red Canyon music, a Peruvian dinner buffet, dancing, family activities, and a South America-themed movie night at the Gem Theater.

Festival Schedule

8:00 amHike and music with llamas in Red Canyon. Meet at the Two Sunsets Hotel and ferry to Casto Canyon from there. After the short hike, Los Hermanos de Los Andes record with the red rocks and llamas in the background. Not a paid activity.
9:00 amConcert in Red Canyon begins.
Noon - 1:30 pmMeet the quinoa experts and enjoy the quinoa harvest. Llama rides available for kids. Taste of quinoa potluck at noon.
5:30 pmMain event dinner show at Panguitch Social Hall, 65 E. Center St. Peruvian dinner buffet by La Carreta Restaurant with traditional Andean music and Latin Dance Heritage dancing.
7:30 pmFree South America-themed movie at the Gem Theater, “Romancing the {GEM}”.
Tickets required for dinner/show:
Adults: $20
Under 16: $10

Peruvian dinner buffet, traditional Andean music, dancing, and locally made Andean ice cream flavors.
